Trumpet Master is a practice companion for trumpet players. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the app accesses, why, and how it's handled.
Microphone. Trumpet Master uses your phone's microphone to detect the pitch of the notes you play during practice, drone, tuner, and calibration sessions. Audio is processed entirely on your device in real time. No audio recording is ever uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any server. The microphone is only active while you have the practice screen open.
App-usage and crash data (Firebase). We use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand which features are used and to receive automatic crash reports when the app misbehaves. This data is anonymous and aggregated — we do not collect names, email addresses, contact lists, location, contacts, photos, or any personal identifiers. Firebase's data handling is governed by Google's privacy policy.
Practice history. Your exercise scores, daily usage minutes, and journey progress are stored locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences. They never leave your phone.
Purchases. If you upgrade to Trumpet Master Pro, the purchase is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see your credit card or payment details — Google does. We only learn that "this device owns the Pro entitlement" so the daily limit is removed.
Android will ask for microphone permission the first time you open a screen that needs it. You can revoke it at any time in Settings → Apps → Trumpet Master → Permissions. Without microphone access, the practice, tuner, drone, and calibration screens will display a "Microphone is off — tap to enable" state, but the app will not crash and the lessons section will continue to work.
Trumpet Master is rated Everyone and is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date above and surface a notice in the app on the next launch.
